If You Haven't Got It, Fake It!

If You Haven't Got It, Fake It!

For all of my vertically challenged ladies, I know height can present a fashion challenge but we don’t have to waste one of our wishes asking to add inches to our frame. I myself am 5’4” and these are a few tips that I use daily for looking taller

Changing your hairstyle can instantly make you gain inches. So don’t discount a shorter do.

Wearing high-waisted pants or skirt can give the appearance of longer legs, thus making you look taller. A tucked-in top can even add extra length.

Donning all one color elongates the body. You can accentuate the solid color with colorful or patterned accessories.

Create long lines with vertical stripes. Stripes are so on trend at the moment, so you will have lots of choices.

Too short? Wear high heels. Opt for nude or clear shoes, which give you sky-high legs (maybe not Heidi Kim high) but immediately gives your legs instant height.

The petite frame can be challenging yet fun to dress. Make choices that either fit your frame or be sure to have them tailored for a more stream-lined fit. A nip or tuck can make a world of difference.

At the end of the day be happy with who you are, but it never hurts to step it up a bit!
